MBE’s Antibody Discovery and Engineering Platform (ADEPTM) platform achieves high-throughput (HTP) recombinant monoclonal antibodies discovery by cloning antibody heavy and light chain sequences derived from endogenous antigen-specific B cells into high-yield expression vectors followed by HTP mammalian expression and functional validation.  The ADEP™ platform relies on the ability to isolate, activate and multi-parametric flow cytometry ability to probe single antigen-specific B cells that leads to the generation of recombinant monoclonal antibodies with native heavy and light chains pairings which is critical for antibody specificity, functionality and stability. Antibody expression services
Our antibody and protein expression services use serum-free mammalian transient expression system (HEK or CHO cells) to rapidly produce high-quality recombinants antibodies at micrograms (µg) to scale-up grams (g) quantities. We can start from purified plasmid(s), electronic antibody sequence(s), purified antibody protein or hybridoma cell line. Our unique codon optimization and high-yield expression vector system guarantee high-yield recombinant antibodies of any species, isotype or fragment format with high purity and low endotoxin levels. Protein purification involves selective separation of antibodies or protein of interest from a complex mixture of biological material (polyclonal antibodies; ascitic fluid; membrane extract or cell culture supernatants. MBE utilizing a wide array of protein purification methods from research (mg) to scale-up (grams) quantities. Depending on the specific requirements of your target protein and desired level of purity our antibody and antigen purification process involves sample preparation, protein extraction, optimization and purification, analysis and quality control.

Protein/Antigen design and cell line generation
The quality of accessible protein antigens in native-conformation at high concentration in highly immunogenic format provide efficient processes to elicit strong immune response in immunized animals or highly efficient screening material to retrieve large panels of leads antibodies even against difficult targets such as G protein-couplet receptors (GRCPs) membrane proteins, multi-transmembrane proteins as ion channels. Moreover, our cell line generation service offers the capacity to generate a cell line that transiently or stably expresses an antigen of interest. Hybridoma Sequencing
To avoid the loss of your hybridoma line, we propose hybridoma sequencing by sequencing the cDNA encoding the variable heavy (VH) and variable light (VL) domains of your hybridoma cell line. The hybridoma sequencing offers the advantage of preserving the genetic information of the clone line and the possibilities to reformat and convert your antibody in any species, antibody’s isotype or subtype of your choosing.

Antibody de novo protein sequencing 
De novo sequencing service allows rescue and recovery of the antibody’s light and heavy chains from available protein samples. If the hybridoma cell line is lost or if you lose the recombinant DNA plasmids encoding for your light and heavy chain full-length recombinant antibody sequences, we offer a de antibody protein sequencing services as a solution. Our protein sequencing combines gel or protein separation, protease digestions, mass spectrometry peptide sequencing and overlapping peptides assembly analyses.
